All parties attending FDR must attend an intake session.
As Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners, we are obligated to ensure that your matter is appropriate for mediation.
If your matter is determined appropriate for Family Dispute Resolution, you will be booked in for a mediation session.
If your matter is determined not appropriate for Family Dispute Resolution, you will be issued with a section 60I Certificate which allows you to proceed to Family Court.
Additional hours will be charged at $120 per parent.
Concessional rates are available to Health Care Card holders.
*Price includes the cost of preparing the agreements made during the session, administrative costs associated with issuing a section 60I certificate and all correspondence between both parties.
During the parenting session, we assist parents to find fair and mutually agreeable arrangements for their children that is in their best interests.

After the mediation session, we assist parents to draft a parenting plan that outlines the arrangement agreed upon.

During the mediation session, we will assist the parties to come to an agreement about how to divide the assets and debts of the relationship. We aim to achieve a fair and practical property settlement, without going to the Family
We acknowledge that parties may be working full-time and not able to attend Family Dispute Resolution, or afford to take any additional leave from work.
Mend Mediation provides after hours mediation sessions and Saturday Family Dispute Resolution sessions.
